I think every decision is difficult because in achieving it, we have to leave something behind. I also make a lot of decisions in life which obviously are tough to make, but here I’d like to talk about one such decision which was really very tough for me to make. The choice I had to make was regarding the stream I had to choose in senior secondary. I took this decision almost seven years back. It was very difficult d for me because I was not sure about my interest at that time. When I was a kid, I remember my desire changed according to my dreams like sometimes I want to be a doctor, but another day I want to be piolet. But then after some counselling with my parents as well as with friends I came to a conclusion finally but during this time realized that nobody can guide to properly as good as your parents can. The outcome was as I wanted to be. I took medical stream and really found it very interesting .my experience was great in studying and exploring it.

Question 1:- What decisions do people generally make in their daily life?

Answer – there are alot of decisions which people have to make every day like which dress they want to wear or what kind of food they want to eat, and also they make them according to their profession as well for instance a doctor has to make decisions related to his appointments and a teacher, on the other hand, have to decide earlier what is she/he going to teach today.

Question 2:- Which is easier, making a decision by oneself or making a decision after a group discussion?

Answer – well, I reckon making a choice after some group discussion has the edge over the decision by oneself because in a group there are alot of people involved and everyone has a different perspective to the same situation. We should hear everyone but do only that thing which we think is important to us.

Question 3:- Why are many young people unwilling to listen to their parent’s advice?

Answer – this is because youngster thinks that their parents thinking might be outdated because they are from a different era. Also, in general, young people by nature have a problem listening to the figures of authority.

Question 4:- Why do middle-aged people tend to second guess their decision?

Answer – well, second-guessing has nothing to do with age. We all tend to think twice when it’s a difficult decision or the ones we are not sure about. I think the best way to avoid rethinking is to limit the choices and also buy talking with close friends and family members.
