Happiness: IELTS Speaking Introduction Questions With Answers
Question 1:- What did you enjoy doing as a child?
Answer: As a child, I was happy engaging in simple things like playing with friends, celebrating various festivals with my family, and getting a little treat like chocolates or toys. I can hardly remember any worries during these times.
Question 2:- What does happiness mean to you?
Answer: In my opinion, happiness is a psychological condition that stems from deep feelings of contentment and self-accomplishment. It is not always about accomplishing great things.
Question 3:- Is it possible for you to say that money can make people happy?
Answer: Money, up to a certain point, can bring happiness because it relieves various burdens, offers a sense of safety, and provides access to several opportunities. However, apart from satisfying basic needs, happiness stems from making substantial relationships and being happy with oneself and these are not things that can be bought.
Question 4:- Looking at the people in your country, do you feel that they are happy people?
Answer: Yes, I feel that people in my country India are happy people and are able to maintain their happiness despite the struggles.
Question 5:- Do you think people in your country are now happier than they were a generation ago?
Answer: It is a mixed bag. Although life has become easier due to advanced technology and a better state of living, some people may find happiness more difficult because of the current hustle culture and the constant pressure we face every day.
Question 6:- Some people are saying that it seems happiness is never everlasting, why is this so?
Answer: Usually, happiness is linked to particular occasions or milestones which are by their nature temporary. As time goes on, such as weekends or birthdays, people may go back to their baseline, this makes happiness feel as though it lasts a few moments.
Question 7:- How do you react when you experience prolonged feelings of unhappiness?
Answer: In such cases, I prefer to do things such as listening to music or reading a book that helps in relief, my loved ones or close friends are always by me.
