Many doctors recommend that older people exercise regularly, but most patients do not follow an exercise routine. Why do you think this happens? How can people be encouraged to exercise regularly?
Regular exercise is good for our health and well-being. Although most physicians suggest that the aged individuals should frequently perform workout activities, clients fail to engage themselves in this task. This essay discusses the causes of this issue, such as people feeling lazy and not being used to performing exercises. This essay shall also bring to the limelight ways in which individuals can be motivated to workouts at regular time intervals.
There are myriad causes of the older generation failing to work out from time to time, despite several suggestions made to them by health experts. However, I think the root cause of this serious matter can be attributed to the fact that other individuals are not used to involving themselves in regular exercise. They have practically cultivated the habit of not exercising, and as such, nothing prompts them to do so. Additionally, most people feel extremely lazy to work out. Ultimately, they just lack the drive to do so and find it difficult getting on the road to jog or even run for a few distances. In Ghana, for instance, most elderly people are frequently indoors and do not involve themselves in workouts.
There are countless ways to motivate the aged to work out at regular time intervals. Firstly, I suggest there should be massive public awareness about the benefits of regular exercise which can be created by the use of the mass media. If people hear and watch on television and radio how performing regular exercises can benefit their health and well-being, most of them would develop the habit. Secondly, health experts such as nurses can organize community durbar in an attempt to educate the general public about how frequent workout can boost their immune system.
In conclusion, after profound analysis of the above-mentioned situation, I believe elderly individuals feeling reluctant and not accustomed to how to perform regular workouts are the main causes of this issue. However, community durbar and health talks on the media can motivate the masses to develop interest.
