Snacks: IELTS Speaking Introduction Questions With Answers
Question 1:- What snacks do you like to eat?
Answer: I enjoy a variety of snacks, but my favourites are usually healthy options like fruits, nuts, and yoghurt. I also enjoy a few indulgent treats like potato chips or chocolate when I feel like something savoury or sweet. I find that snacking on nuts is not only delicious but also a good source of protein and healthy fats, so I try to have those more often.
Question 2:- Did you often eat snacks when you were young?
Answer: Yes, I did eat snacks quite often when I was younger. I remember enjoying things like biscuits, chips, and occasionally, sweets like candy or chocolate bars. My parents were not too strict about limiting snacks, but they always encouraged me to choose healthier options like fruits and nuts over junk food, especially when I was hungry between meals.
Question 3:- When do you usually eat snacks now?
Answer: Now, I tend to eat snacks when I’m feeling a bit hungry between meals, usually in the late morning or mid-afternoon. If I’m at work or busy with other activities, I might skip snacks, but when I do eat them, I try to pick something nutritious. I also enjoy having a light snack while watching TV in the evening, especially if I’m craving something crunchy or sweet.
Question 4:- Do you think it is healthy for you to eat snacks?
Answer: It can be healthy to eat snacks, depending on the choices we make. Snacks like fruits, nuts, or yoghurt are good options as they provide essential nutrients without too many calories. However, if I snack on processed foods or sugary treats too often, it can affect my health negatively. So, I believe moderation and making mindful choices are key to ensuring that snacking remains a healthy part of my diet.
