Overall, it is clear that more men have heart attacks than women, regardless of age. In addition, the older Americans are, the higher chance they have heart attacks.
Firstly, as indicated in the chart, there are more than 120 thousand American males from 29 to 44 years getting a heart attack, while it is scarcely a case among women of the same age. Furthermore, those rates of both genders increase accordingly to the growth of age.
