Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The diagram illustrates how electricity is generated in a hydroelectric power station.
Initially, from the river water passed and then high- level reservoir, the intake is opened during the day but closed at night, and nearby dam is situated there is the flow of water to generate electricity in day and flow of water during pumping at night.
In the power station, there is a Generator on one side power is supplied to reversible turbines and in day time generator is operated and in the night time water is pumped into the high-level reservoir. Whereas at the other side, power lines are generated into the Nations’s grid and then the low-level reservoir.
Overall, the process of the hydroelectric power station is passed on the day and night basis mainly the power Station plays an imperative role.
