High school IELTS Speaking Part 1 Questions With Answer
Question 1:- Are you still in contact with your friends from high school?
Answer – Yes, definitely, I am in contact with my school friends. In fact, I have been with these friends since childhood. However, at present, they are in different cities pursuing their careers, but we do stay in contact through calls, even video calls. And sometimes, if we do plan a reunion and have fun.
Question 2:- What is your high school like?
Answer – My high is on the suburban of the city. It was a well-infrastructured building which has all the amenities consist well-equipped labs as well as the library. It also had a huge playground. Additionally, it also had a basketball ground and skating ground.
Question 3:- What happened on the first day of high school?
Answer – On the first day to the 9th std, we were very excited as we were almost seniors. But apart from this as we had our boards next year so we had long study hours and additionally we had to go to tutions.
Question 4:- Did your parents choose your secondary school (= high school) for you?
Answer – No, as from childhood I was in the very same school, so I continue in that school. I think there was no need to change that school because it had very faculty.
Question 5:- What subjects did you study in secondary school (= high school)?
Answer – In we 9th 10th we had lots of subjects such as physics, chemistry, maths, biology, social science, English and so on.
Question 6:- What was your favourite subject ( = class) in secondary school? (= high school)
Answer – Among all the subjects I loved the maths subject as it was not all about theory. But it was about solving sums and numerical with a technique that is what I like most about that subject.
Question 7:- And which class (= subject) did you like the least? (Why?)
Answer – I was least interested in social science because it was all about theory, and it was not my cup of tea. In fact, I barely pass that subject with great difficulty.
Question 8:- Which secondary school subject do you think is most useful for people in adult life?
Answer – I think every subject has its own importance in one’s life. For instance, without science, it would be difficult to understand the environment and the surrounding. Physics and maths give us information about gravity and calculation strategies so on.
Question 9:- What part of your secondary school education did you enjoy most? OR Did (do) you like your secondary school life?
Answer – I liked the whole second year because it was fun as we enjoyed every class, in fact, we enjoyed extra classes a lot as there were no one in the school except us. Sometimes we used to play and sometimes we used to study hard.
Question 10:- How do you feel about your high school (secondary school)?
Answer – I relish my high school memories from the start of the first day to the farewell. It was a good memory for each of us.
Question 11:- Why did you choose to attend (= to go to) that particular school?
Answer – At that time, as it was a nearby school, so my parents put me in that school. But afterwards, the school expanded and opened a new branch in the suburban of the city, so I stayed in that school.
Question 12:- Which class did (do) you enjoy the most? (Why?)
Answer – I think all of the classes I enjoyed most. But mostly, I liked class 1 as it was no load of syllabus and it was too easy to learn, but as the class increased, the syllabus also.
