Question 1:- Do you like texting?

Answer- Yes, I do text; many of my friends text me a lot, so it’s easier for me to text, too .lt keeps us communicating for long periods, unlike calling. I can spend the whole day chatting with different people by sending text messages, and there are things I can’t say when calling but can be better communicated using a text message.

Question 2:-How often do you write texts?

Answer- I send text messages as often as possible. Suppose I am not busy. I text when I am performing some of my chores at home. I love texting when I travel long distances as it keeps me occupied, I wouldn’t feel alone, and I reach my destination without being lonely.

Question 3:-Why do you send texts?

Answer- I send texts because they are cheaper than calls, which is cost-effective .lts easy to text when you’re in a place with other people as this provides privacy than calling, which would cause everyone to be attentive to the conversation. It also allows information to be given in written format such that the recipient can review it if they forget any instructions.

Question 4:-Do you use any apps to write texts?

Answer- There are many platforms for sending texts .l use the ordinary text messaging application, Whatsapp, and messenger on Facebook .l mostly prefer WhatsApp since many of my friends use it.

Question 5:-Do you text someone if they don’t answer your phone call?

Answer- Yes, I do; sometimes, someone might not be able to answer a call but can respond to a text message because of their location at that time. I usually send them these messages so that they know exactly why I called them, lest I forget because we get committed to many things, which causes us to forget some things.

Question 6:-Do you prefer sending or receiving messages?

Answer- Receiving a text message is great; usually, I love receiving one from my husband. He usually sends sweet text messages when I am not at home. They keep me connected to him throughout the day. I feel warm and cosy after reading them.

Question 7:-Do you always reply to a text message?

Answer- I try my best, but sometimes I get really busy such that I can’t answer, or when I am driving, I can’t respond, but my friends and relatives know this, so it doesn’t become much of an issue with them. When I am not busy, I do answer all my messages. I enjoy the company it brings.

Question 8:-In what situations are making a call better than writing a text?

Answer- it’s better to call when the message you want to relay is very urgent. I think texting is for those things that can wait, but if it’s urgent, then a call would be better. For example, I would call if a sick person needs help. Some people do not respond to messages, so if you communicate with a person for the first time, I think a call would be appropriate.

Question 9:-Is texting better than calling people?

Answer- Yes, for me, it is. I feel free to say what I want without being interrupted, and it allows me to express myself properly. Issues can be discussed in depth without fearing the costs. It provides reference, especially if lovely things are said and can keep safe some information for later use, such as directions.

Question 10:-Have you ever received a confusing text message?

Answer- Yes, I have .l received a message stating that I owed a certain company some money .l tried calling them, but the number was not getting through .l was so confused about how I came to owe so much money. Upon contacting them, I discovered they had sent to the wrong number.

Question 11:-Do you receive texts with ads?

Answer- No, I don’t .l don’t like these because if you entertain them, they keep coming, and it’s so annoying sometimes. It takes a lot of my precious time.
