These days, many stores serve people round the clock. Opening of shops 24 *7 is beneficial for buyers, workforce and business themselves is a matter of conjecture which needs to be pondered.
To begin with, there are many compelling reasons to believe that 24 hours stores provide many benefits. Primarily, people can get food and other essential items whenever they need them. This makes their lifestyle better and healthier as many outlets offer healthy and scrumptious food at the same price throughout the day. This is a blessing for the busy professionals who often works odd hours. Those days are gone when people work at night and take rest at night. Now, many businesses are there who works round the clock. Retails shops which are often opened for 24 hours 7 days a week, serve night shift people better,
Employment is another benefit of this development. When the store opens 24*7, they need more staff. So they recruit more people to serve their business. They hire staff at good salaries. Some even give them houses to live in and provide food. By serving customers day and night, they are able to make more revenues. Studies have shown that outlets that work day and night produce more profits than outlets open only during the day.
To conclude, when shops remain open throughout the day, they benefit the community, the workers and the businesses. Hence, in my opinion, this trend is a positive development.
