I am an introverted person, and I have stage fear too. But one day, there was a poem competition in my school, and my fellow classmates gave my name to the teacher for the competition.  In that competition, the topics were given prior, and we had to prepare a poem according to it. My topic was the environment.

I prepared the poem, but on the day of the competition, by seeing a lot of audiences, I got afraid. To overcome my fear, my friend motivated me, and we a great strength, I moved on to the stage and started reciting. After 10 minutes, my poem was over, and I got relieved. Then after some time, there was a declaration of results. It was a feeling like butterflies in the stomach as everyone said the poem was fantastic.

Then my teacher announced the winner and I got second prize. Although it was not the first, I was proud of myself as I overcame my stage fear. I thought if my friends would never add my name, I would never cross my lines. So, whatever happens, it happens for the best.
