The below diagram illustrates the changes west park secondary school has transformed over a period of 60 years since its establishment in 1950.
In 1950, the area was divided into four different blocks, and one was the main road. There were houses, and behind the houses, there was farmland. On the right side of the house, there was a school, and at the back of the school, there was a playground.
However, in 1980 only the school and playground still remained the same, and at the place of houses, there was car parking and a science block, and there was a sports field at the place of farmland. Moving ahead, in 2010, there were no changes in buildings, but car parking takes the place of half of the sports field, and that is an innovation occurs in from last 60 years.
Overall, it can be seen that the school had some significant changes during the time with the expansion of the school building and car parking and sports field.
