The graphs below provide information on global population figures and figures for urban populations in different world regions.

The line graph and bar graph show information on the global population and figures for the urban population in different world regions. Overall, the line graph and bar graph show that the population of the world will dive to the highest point in 2040.

It is quite evident from the line graph the population of the world slightly increased between 1800 to 1960. On the other hand population of the world dramatically increased from 1980 to 2020 and in the next twenty-year the population will reach the highest point in 2040 but after 2040 population will decrease year by year

Meanwhile, in the bar graph, between 2015 to 2020, in developed regions population remained stable, but in developing regions population steadily increased from approximately 2000 million to 2500 million people. Furthermore, in the next twenty-year developed regions’ population will remain the same, but in growing regions population will reach 4000 million people in 2040.
