You Recently Went on a Business Trip and Stayed in a Hotel

You recently went on a business trip and stayed in a hotel. On getting home, you realized you left some things at the hotel. Write a letter to the hotel manager. In your letter, you should tell:

Details of your stay
The items you left behind
What you want the manager to do.

Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to let you know that I left some things in your hotel during my stay. I seek your help in findings one of my belongings.

I was at your place a fortnight ago, and my stay lasted for seven days. Though everything looked fine while I checkout from your hotel; however when I reached home and unpacked my suitcase, I realized that I forgot my jacket in the hotel room assigned to me, room number 501. Its blue coloured jacket having grey stripes on the upper area.

I must get my piece of clothing as soon as possible as it’s very costly. Additionally, it’s very precious to me. Therefore, I request you to please look into the matter at your earliest convenience. Kindly send my jacket to my residential address present in an attached envelope; I would bear complete postal charges.

I appreciate your quick response.

Yours sincerely,
John
