Sample Answer of Describe a Time When You Tried to Do Something

I was very young when I tried to cook a meal for myself while my mother was out for some work. She got everything almost ready I just had to heat it up and get some bread ready. I certainly used the stove for the bread and the microwave to heat up the other stuff, but I still messed it up. I burned my hand and dropped everything on the floor, and had to order food from outside. My mistake was to pick it up without a glove, and it was too hot to handle. I felt really bad about not being aware and concentrating. I think I could have done the job better, but I learned from my experience, and now I’m a good cook as well.
