In the past, these activities were conducted in many places. However, there has been a surge in the number of surveys and questionnaires performed these days, And the cause can be attributed to the increasing population with an equal rise in global problems.
I remember a group of 4 guys from the Ghana statistical Service who came to my house to ask me a couple of questions about my personal life and other stuff. I really felt they were invading my privacy, but I also thought it wise that they actually needed the information for the development of the country, so I answered them accordingly. They asked me whether I was working or not, and they also asked me if I was married or not.

Answer- I believe the drawbacks will be very few compared to the positives.
