According to me, a neighbour is a person who always comes first whenever we need help in life. Mr Vikram Patel and his family are our neighbours, and they have been living there since my childhood. His nature is very kind and helpful. His wife and my mother both are housewives, and they usually go to the market for shopping together. In addition to this, He and my father both are teachers; therefore, there is the wavelength of our family matches with their’s family.

As he is a science teacher so whenever I have doubts in my study, then I often went him, and he is always explaining me in detail so I can understand the concept easily. He always comes to our home at weekends to meet my father, and they have long discussions on every topic. Whenever there was a problem that occurred in our home related to the study of children, marriage and about the life, then he was always giving us the true suggestion which helps us lot to make a decision in certain matters. A neighbour plays an important in any person’s life; they not only give suggestions but also help in difficulty. It is right to say that the neighbour is the first relative. Whenever my parents were out of town due to some reason, then he usually took care of me in every way.

Answer:- Yes, I think neighbours are important because they are the only people who can easily reach us whenever we face some difficulties. Generally, people would prefer to buy or rent a house even if they have to pay a bit more price for it because people felt that if neighbours are good, then they take care their when they are out of town for some reasons.

But the scenario is changing in metro cities like Delhi and Mumbai; due to the hectic and self-centric lifestyle of the people, they even do not know who is living next to their house.

Question 4:- Now that most people watch a lot of TV’s, how do you think this has affected people’s relationships with their neighbours’?

Answer:- Watching a lot of TVs always affects our relationship with others not only with neighbours because due to this type of behaviour we can not have enough time with our neighbour, so it not only reduces love and affection between us but also is detrimental to life.

Question 5:- How should (or how can) modern people communicate with their neighbours?

Answer:- In the modern world, Due to the rat race of earning money, people do not spend enough time even with their’s family members. But it is not good for our social life, and sometimes people feel isolated. Hence we should remain in contact with neighbours by talking with them at least 10 minutes a day. It helps us to know about each other and makes bonding strong.

Question 6:- What are some of the qualities of a good community?

Answer:- Good communities are those community that takes care of every family of the community in every possible way; they should be supportive, they should provide motivation to get rid of social problems like dowry, literacy and girls’ education.

Question 7:- Do you think it’s important to teach children good relations with neighbours?

Answer:- Yes, I think we should teach the children to make healthy relationships with neighbours because generally, children are well aware of their neighbours, so it helps them to improve the habit of sharing. If a person can maintain good relations with neighbours, then they can maintain good relations with any other in the world.

Question 8:- What is the best kind of neighbour for a child to have?

Answer:- For the child, the neighbour should express love and affection towards him so they can feel happy, they should learn good manners to them, the child can feel safe in the presence of neighbours etc…

Question 9:- How do people of the neighbourhood become friends?

Answer:- Generally, people share things with neighbours like sweets, some good fruits, some good dishes whenever they are made. This type of sharing brings people closer and make bonding with them. Apart from this, people celebrate festivals like Diwali, Holi etc… with neighbours. Children who live next to each other generally go to school together and sometimes study in the same school. There is some reason which makes them good friends.

Answer:- If people have the same mindset, same interest and same opinion, then there are to become friends because sometimes it plays a vital role in the starting of friendship, but+ sometimes these types of qualities are not matched then it becomes difficult to do friendship.
