Question 1. Do you think museums are important?
Answer- Yes, I do think so. Museums help in preserving our history and cultural heritage as a people. The artefacts found in museums also serve as tools for educating younger ones and unborn generations.
Question 2. Are there many museums in your hometown?
Answer- I don’t know exactly how many are there, because I’ve visited just a few of them. I’ve been to 2, actually, and I had a great time there.
Question 3. Do you like to visit museums?
Answer- I fancy going to museums because the artistic exhibits present are not the things we see every day. They’re not common.
Question 4. How often do you go to museums?
Answer- I’m not a regular visitor. The few times I’ve been there were times I went on school excursions with my friends and colleagues.
Question 5. When was the last time you visited a museum?
Answer- It’s been a while since I visited a museum. I’ve not had time to go to a museum in the last decade. I do visit cinemas and parks instead.
Question 6. Did you visit museums when you were a child?
Answer- Yes. I recall the first time I ever visited a museum as a child was during my third year in primary school, in our school bus, and of course, with the supervision of some teachers and caregivers.
Question 7. Why is it boring for children to go to museums?
Answer- Children find museums boring because they can’t relate to most of the artworks, the objects are old and historical, not toys they can play with.
Question 8. How can we make museums interesting for children?
Answer- There are several things to do to make museums interesting for children. Kids generally love colourful areas and attractive objects. Therefore, if museums are built in a fancy way, with maybe some play areas for games, kids will find them more fun to visit.
