The line graph below gives information on cinema attendance in the UK.

The line graph provides information about individuals with four distinct age groups who visited the movie centre to watch films from 1990 to 2010.

Overall, it is noticeable that at the beginning and the end of the given period, younger people were the last group of people who visited the Cinema, while the elderly group massively visited the movie centre more regularly.

In 1990, the percentage of people within the age groups of 44-54 and 34-44 both stood at around 36%. However, their proportions increased by approximately 2% in 1995 before plummeting by around 3% in 2000. The proportions of these groups attending the film show rose dramatically till 2010, recording nearly 53% for the age group of 44-54 and around 44% for the 34-44 age category.

1n 1990, age groups of 24-34 and 14-24 started off at around 24% and approximately 15% for individual groups who attended the film show centre. In 1995, the rate of attendance for the age group of 24-34 increased to around 28%, while that of the age category of 14-24 rose slightly by approximately 1%. However, their frequency of visiting the movie house declined by around 3% for each group. Surprisingly, from 2000 to 2010, both categories of age groups experienced a sharp increase of visits to around 32% for 24-34 group and nearly 22% for 14-24 group of people.
