With regard to the first figure, the major reason is that people (71%) wish for a good and healthy body, after which a third of smokers intend to smoke because of their financial condition. At the same time, a quarter of smoking individuals have shown a willingness to risk a low level of smoking-related diseases. There are such 10% of people who have health issues and consume less than 19 cigarettes every day have to leave smoking.

As far as when smokers quit cigarettes is concerned, 35% of addicted people said that they are ready to relinquish smoking in the next six months. Following this, 21% have a plan over the next year, and 12% of people are prepared to stop this addiction in the following month. Furthermore, light smokers (79%) are more intended than heavy smokers (69%), and those who are interested in continuing smoking comprise 29% of the total smokers.

All in all, for better health and financial consideration, people want to stop their habit of smoking. A smaller percentage of people are inclined to let go of cigarettes in the following six months.
