Question 1 What’s the most popular means of transportation in your hometown?

Answer –Well, buses remain the most popular means of transport in my home town due to ease of availability and affordable fares among middle-class people. However, a lot of people take up auto or taxi for a short distance. But it is expensive and used mostly in emergencies.

Question 2 How often do you take buses?

Answer – Seldom do I take the bus for travelling because it gives me a lot of discomforts. But when I have to travel between towns, I have no choice but to take up the bus. Mostly it is crowded, and getting a seat is not possible. A lot of people commute standing.

Question 3 Can you compare the advantages of planes and trains?

Answer – According to my view trains have more advantages than planes. The journey of the train is more enjoyable and comes with more space and areas to move around. The seats are very comfortable, and it is a long journey. You can even book a sleeper coach. You get to observe the natural scenes, admire the beauty, and meet and interact with people from all walks of life.

Question 4 Is driving to work popular in your country?

Answer – Mostly in towns, not in the cities. Public transport is widely used. Dealing with traffic and parking space is a difficult task and maintaining your own vehicles at this skyrocketing fuel price is a challenge.

Question 5 Do you think people will drive more in the future?

Answer – I disagree because fuel has become so expensive, and roads are so congestive that it costs a lot to maintain and drive own vehicles. Rather it is cheaper to take public transport like metro, buses or even trains. Some people are aware of the impact that fuel vehicles have on the environment. Thus, they prefer to have public transport.

Question 6 Would you ride bikes to work in the future?

Answer – I mostly ride bikes for pleasure, along with friends. To drive a bike for work would be not feasible. One is that in the climatic conditions like summer or monsoon. You may either be wet with the seat or with rainwater. One needs to be presentable in formal clothing to attend work with jeans, jacket and helmet.

Question 7 What will become the most popular means of transportation in India?

Answer – I guess it would be metro trains. Most of the major cities in India have fast metro trains. It can be accessed by all and are frequently available. The metro station is located in the cities, so less time is required to get into offices.

Question 8 Do you prefer public transportation or private transportation?

Answer – It depends on the purpose. I prefer public transport for commuting to work and for my personal travel it is easy to take private transport. Public transport has fixed timings so one can reach office in the exact given time and travel almost every day so that it would be reasonable on fair. Personal travels are rare, and they would be along with family. Therefore, preferable private transport like a taxi is considered.

Question 9 How did you come here (get here) today?

Answer – In order to reach this venue, I drove my friend’s car. I cannot rely on public transport, because it does not this building does not come in route of public transport. I don’t want to be late for the exam. That’s the reason I borrowed my friend’s car.

Question 10 Why did you choose that form of transport?

Answer – This venue does not come in route with the public transport. And even if I take public transport. I have to take taxis after I get down at the bus stop. Therefore, it was preferable to drive the car and reach the destination in time.

Answer – I prefer public transport. Mostly because I don’t have to take the stress of driving and to watch the roads, I can enjoy my music or read some books while taking public transport.

Answer – Both are convenient and easily available. But buses don’t run late at night. Although taxis charge higher there is no other choice in late-night travels
