We cannot help everyone in the world that needs help, so we should only be concerned with our communities and countries. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Today’s world is more technologically advanced than in the past, and because of the advancements in technology, the barriers to helping others are eliminated. Technological advancements can and are helping us to provide necessary help worldwide. There are two aspects to this, and therefore, I totally disagree with the above statement.
To embark on how technological advancements have made it easy, we first look at virtual aspects that can help us to provide help to communities across the world. Today the young generation is helping each other via discord servers across the globe. The same thing is done through applications like Reddit. Some subreddits help people with their problems. For instance, a subreddit on mathematics helps students with the problems they are facing in solving an algebraic equation.
In conditions where donations should be made can be done using Patron and fundraisers on YouTube. Moreover, educational help provided by ieltsfever.com is an example of the same.
We now have transportation facilities that make our travelling easy and that also helps us help people living in different parts of the world. We had recently seen this during the Covid-19 pandemic when people were sick and had no food to eat, and food had been delivered using drones. In another instance, when Russia invaded Ukraine, the Indian community provided help at the Ukraine-Poland border and have had helped the people evacuate from Ukraine.
To conclude, we should not be short-sighted in this aspect as we can provide help and accept the advancements to help our people using virtual and physical means.
