Nowadays people like to the private vehicle’s because it is the easiest way for them they can easily one place to another place at any time. This has consequently led to the heavy congestion of traffic and obnoxious gases on the environment. Therefore, governments can definitely initiate some suggestive measures to control this menace. Analyzing the first question, In the past, it was very difficult for a number of people to buy a car because of their expensive prices; However, when modern technology was developed, the price of car producing was decreased. Hence, the public has the power to buy a car. it is a time-consuming process for them, and they can easily go anywhere, which creates a traffic jam in cities and also releases harmful gases on the environment. thus, create traffic jams in the cities

Referring to the second question, However, there are a number of measures that the government can introduce to help solve the problem of traffic jams. Firstly, the governing body needs to introduce a law that restricts the number of cars on the road on any particular day. For instance, the Delhi government implemented the “odd/even” rule, which helped in reducing the number of cars on the road by allowing only cars with odd numbers or even numbers to ply on the road on any particular day. Secondly, the government can improve infrastructure by widening the roads and carrying out maintenance to ensure smooth traffic operations.

To conclude, it can be finally commented that, if the government takes these measures promptly this will surely reduce the rising number of car ownership. It will help many cities by reducing in the number of traffic jams.
