There are many times when I had to wait in the queue and wait in a queue in India because of the enormous population. But here I would like to share a recent incident when I had to wait for about 3 to 4 hours.
Actually, I had applied for a passport, and I got a time of 2:45 p.m. so I had to get there at 2:30 p.m. and the agent who had applied for my passport application asked me to get there at about 11 o’clock, but I asked him that the time is 2:45 so why I went there too early?. But he didn’t listen and understand consequently I ought to go there at about 11 o’clock, and I went, but when I asked the security guard who sends applications inside that shall o go inside? He refused me and said that you had to enter at the time that you had received. I had to wait for more than 3 hours, and I was getting tired because I had never wait for such a long time. After 3 hours, my turn came, and I entered complete my work. But it was irritating me, and I was out of my patience to stand for a long time as there were no chairs. And that was the day that was very tough for me.

Answer – I think there are many things that people do while waiting in line. Answer – I think yes, technology has reduced the queues to a large extent. This is mainly because of several things we have to go outside, but now it can be done online. For example, with net banking, the need to visit banks has been reduced significantly. Likewise, many people have now started shopping online, which has reduced the queues in front
of supermarkets and malls.
Question 4 What do you think who cut in line or Jump the queue?
Answer – I really lost my patience when I see such activities as it shows that individuals who do this think that their time is precious and they are busy than others. This happens with me also, but I asked the person to go to the back of the line. It just shows bad manners.
Question 5 How can companies improve their customer service?
Answer – I think companies should improve their customer service and it should be quick. So that no person came to the company and stood in the line, they should take the queries seriously, as I have seen that sometimes the companies do not take the complaints seriously. Apart from this, they should provide the customer service number as I have seen that some corporations did not provide. As a result, customers had to visit their offices and stand in long queues.
