Scientific research should be carried out and controlled by governments rather than private companies. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
In this contemporary era, research plays a significant role in human’s life, and moreover, it is necessary for progress in the world. I completely agree with the above notion that scientific research should always take place in different domains merely under the supervision of the government, not by private companies. I will discuss my points in subsequent paragraphs.
To embark upon, there are several reasons behind why deep-diving and collecting insightful information on specific projects in different fields is only the duty of higher authorities like the government instead of private firms. First of all, it is worth considering that during clinical trials are happening, and the government should be able to support by providing some financial assistance for the better innovation of the product so that it can quickly come into their market without going to rigorous trials on them. Additionally, at the time of trials, some corrective and preventive actions should also be taken by the researchers, and the government should also bolter them in order to avoid hurdles. For instance, many pharma companies in Canada invest a huge amount of money because their government has provided valid and accurate resources and several more techniques to produce reliable products to avoid deterioration.
Illustrating further, if the products fail to comply with all the standards and regulations, then at that time, the government should have alternate resources to cope with the loss. Moving ahead, the government should always have to keep things confidential to prevent discrepancies during the trial. They should not be able to disclose everything when an ongoing trial on the product is held. On top of that, if the product goes to the market, then the government must always be liable to do an advertisement about the product so that in the nation, everyone can be aware of these products. If the government will fund research, then definitely the outcome of any product will not be biased and also motivate and inspire individuals to purchase the equitable products.
To put up the things in a nutshell, the government should provide mandatory support at the time of research for the betterment of society and the nation.
