Some people believe that government should invest to save minority languages, although, some people believe that the sources are no longer of much use. As for me, I strongly agree with the former.

There is the commonly held view the governments should spend money to save languages from loss so that a plenty range of cultures can be protected. This is because each language usually represents one culture. For instance, there are different types of languages in Taiwan and their ancient literature is written by those respective languages. If languages die out, a part of their cultures finished. However, it is known that the loss of minority languages dies not significantly impact people’s lives.

On other hand, the government should not invest money in preserving minority languages. it is proved that these languages are not beneficial and less value of people lives. Many studies show that saving language will cost a large amount of money and few people can take benefit from it and increases our countries financial burden. However, the governments can give in medical infrastructure, and then they can save many lives, Therefore, the government should focus on improving important sectors instead of investing a lot of money to save local languages.

To sum up, it is true that saving local languages important for good resources associated, in my opinion, it is more important for the government to invest in essential services like healthcare and education. Therefore, I am not inside of invest a lot of money to save minority language.
