The environmental problems that today’s world is facing are so great that there is little ordinary people can do to improve the situation. So governments and large organizations should be responsible for reducing the amount of damage being done to the environment. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own experience or knowledge.
Environmental problems are becoming a major concern across the globe these days. The situation is alarming, and steps should be taken with immediate effect to overcome this problem. The law system and big corporates working should take care and take the burden of eliminating this on their shoulders. I completely agree with this statement, and the same will be explained further to justify my view.
To begin with, there is a lot of environmental damage across the globe, and it is becoming difficult for ordinary people to deal with this situation. Everywhere you can see different forms of pollution whether it is land, water, air or soil. Common people at their best can contribute little to reduce the impact. Let’s take the example of the Ganga River in India. Day by day, it is getting polluted, and it is impossible for common people to overcome this. They can contribute very little still, and the problem will persist. For this, they need the support of the law system, government and big industrialists because this process will require a lot of money, power, approvals etc.
Secondly, the government has a major role to play in this. They are the ones who can make laws and can bring discipline among the people, and whom a nation will follow. They can organize will the help of big organizations awareness programs, seminars etc., to educate people. This can be done only with the help of the government and big organizations. As it is said, great work requires a lot of effort to reach a fruitful result.
In conclusion, I will say, common people, organizations and government all together has a major role to play, but common people will come into the scene with the help of the government and corporates.
