Sample Answer of Describes a line that you remember from a poem or song.

Today I want to talk about a line from the poem – Stopping by Woods on a snowy evening by Robert Frost. the line is Woods are Lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep. This line is written perhaps in the last stanza of the poem. I’ve read this poem during my school time when I was studying in 10th std.

Our English teacher narrated the poem and made us understand the symbolic meaning of the poem that one must not be lured by the beauty of the surroundings or by the comforts of life unless and until the destination arrives i.e. goals of ones life is achieved. These words were truly motivating and touched my heart and aroused a sense of competition in me and then I determined to top in my class that year.

And I was highly surprised, whenever I deviated from my path this line started playing in my subconscious mind and I will again start my preparation with new zeal and enthusiasm. I felt that those words always motivated me from inside and coz of this motivation only, I passed my class with flying colors and also topped my school. Even after school, until today,

Whenever I feel gloomy and depressed and feel disheartened and demotivated in my life, I recall these lines and again feel rejuvenated and start working towards my target. so these words by Robert frost play an important role in my life by keeping me always in high spirits of life and I’m very thankful to him for writing such a piece of poetry.
