You Are Working for a Company. You Need to Take Time off from Work

You are working for a company. You need to take time off from work and you want to ask your supervisor about it. Write a letter to your manager. In your letter.

  • Explain why you want to go on vacation.
  • Describe in detail the amount of time you need.
  • Suggest how you can cover your work while you are away.

Dear Sir,

This is Mathew Varghese, I work in an administrative department as a manager last 5 years but did not take a leave excluding illness, but I want to leave for vacation with my children for refreshment.

However, I required 15 days leaves, because we have to book in advance, otherwise, we cannot go on that tour. Additionally, there are different places worth visiting and spend more time on natural beauty. Firstly, I will need 2 days for preparation; secondly, the journey will be beginning the third day and return after days. Last few years I cannot take them for outings.

In addition, I realize my temporary absence could be inconvenient to you and the rest of the team, however, I will be available on phone, I would be ready to work some extra hours to cover my pending task. Therefore, you can contact me any time. I really need to take leave to promise my children.

I would be very grateful if you could allow me the time off. looking forward to your positive response.

Yours Sincerely,
